The Mom On m My Street Who Had a Tumor Part 1
There is a woman on my street who just came back from head surgery to remove a tumor. It may sound good because they got it out, but before the good news there was a lot of bad news. Here is the story.
This woman was having ear pains so she thought it was a ear infection. So she went to see the doctor to get some antibiotics from the doctor. But when she got to the doctor he said it could be a little more serious than that. So he sent her to get her head scanned. She wasn’t expecting anything bad so she wasn’t that worried. But then her doctor came to her bearing bad news. He told her that she had a tumor behind her ear. It wasn’t cancerous but it could still cause some damage. He told her of all the different procedures that were available and all of the risks there could be. So she went home to talk with her husband about it. He was taken back by this news as was she. They decided not to tell the kids for a few more days or until they had more knowledge on the subject.
That is the end of part one in the story. The woman goes to the doctor expecting an ear infection and comes out with a tumor that could be life threatening. If you could only imagine what she was going through you would be crying. So if she doesn’t get the surgery she could die or cause serious brain damage. And if she does she could lose complete hearing in that ear, lose most of her eyesight in one eye, not talk right for the rest of her life, and not be able to walk right for the rest of her life. And she has three kids and a husband to worry about as well. So this will clearly be very very hard for her.
